Political actions in Sweden

The following activities are planned in Sweden.

On October 20, 2008 the Swedish Psoriasis Association meet Maria Larsson, Minister for Public Health, to ask her for support  to addressing psoriasis at the global level in the World Health Organization, WHO.This is a part of the global WPD campaign and its purpose is to that WHO will recognize psoriasis as a severe chronic, non-communicable disease and include psoriasis in the WHO Strategy for prevention and control of non-communicable diseases

• Press release

• Local activities: Open House, media contacts, local radio and TV program

• Distribution of WPD Posters and letters to media, politicians, treatment centers, university hospitals etc
