World psoriasis Day in Ecuador

In Ecuador they are planning following activities:
Psoriasis monthly schedule, for commemorating World Psoriasis Day.

(R) Performing your activities normally.
(I)  Preventing sadness and low spirit control your life.
(A) Loving each day everything you do
(S) Feeling really good at home and with your friends
(I) Starting an occupational life with enthusiasm.
(S) No doubt, we´ll answer all your worries.

FEPSO ACTIVITIES COMMEMORATING W.P.D. (29-10-08)
Psoriasis is a skin chronicle disease, non mortal, non contagious, with genetic trend, related to emotional disorders, alcohol, tobacco, obesity, hypertension, diabetes, hyper cholesterol that can be controlled with an appropriate treatment. It attacks 0,59% of the Metropolitan District of Quito population, each new outbreak alters patient’s quality life, in which many times the whole family group is involved. This October 29th we remember WPD, devoted (dedicated) to de 125.000.000 people who suffer this disease worldwide. It’s an event which targets to enlarge awareness (knowledge) of a disease that should be taken into account more seriously by health international and national authorities. For too long, psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis have not been regarded for. It affects the whole person from its physical appearance, psychologically, in his familiar, occupational and economical day by day life and that has to figure in a more prominent place in the sanitary diary.
